Seduction Point

Seduction Point Professional Guide

Detailed Trail Description from our Guidebook

"Seduction Point is a coastal hike with chances to view a variety of marine life while traversing the tip of the Chilkat Peninsula. The hike follows the coastline on the west side of the Chilkat Peninsula to Seduction Point, the point of land that splits Chilkat and Chilkoot Inlets.

The trip features coastal meadows, rugged points and small coves, and good bird and marine-mammal watching. If you’re lucky, you might see humpback whales, orcas, sea lions, seals, or porpoises along the coast. Also look for large paper birch trees on the bluffs above the ocean; Dalasuga Point in particular has a fine grove of birches."
