Trail of Blue Ice

Trail of Blue Ice Professional Guide

Detailed Trail Description from our Guidebook

"A fully-accessible trail for all hiking abilities, winding through forests, streams, and lakes with vistas of the surrounding mountains and glaciers. Portage Valley is one of the most popular visitor destinations, and for good reasons, with easy access to mountains, glaciers, and the Prince William Sound.

The valley’s blue ice and glacial scenery is spectacular, and many visitors only stop at the Begich, Boggs Visitor Center, stay for a brief visit, and leave for another adventure. If you want to explore more, the Trail of Blue Ice is one the whole family can enjoy."
