Triple Lakes Trail

Triple Lakes Trail Professional Guide

Detailed Trail Description from our Guidebook

"This trail travels by forest, creeks, and lakes, and climbs into subalpine with panoramic views of the river valleys below. Triple Lakes Trail connects boreal forest to subalpine lakes, climbing to ridgeline with views of the glacially-carved river valleys and mountain ranges to the east and west.

The trail leads directly to the first lake (the lake names are in order from south to north), with options to hike down for the second and third lakes, or continue on the main trail. This 9-mile thru-hike has two trailhead options, starting from the main Denali Visitor Center, or the southern trailhead off the George Parks Highway."
