On the Riverside Loop Trail, the glaciated north face of Mt. Temple is seen from the east shore of the Bow River. The east side also winds through more forest than the west side and is the more interesting section of the trail. The western side, being wider and straighter, is better for cycling. Interpretive signs beside the trail give details about wildlife that inhabit this environment. There are traffic hazards: you must cross Lake Louise Drive twice, the campground access road (Fairview Road) twice, and the railway station access road (Sentinel Road).

Trails.com currently offers topo maps from the entire United States. We plan to expand our topomap database in the future, however this map is not available at this time. Thank you for your understanding.
