Galatea Creek was once a place for adventurers, being fraught with difficulty and uncertainty. In the early morning, low water levels in the Kananaskis River would entice people to wade across to the `trail'. On returning in the late afternoon, they would sometimes find the river a raging torrent after the opening up of the sluice gates at Canyon Dam, and be forced to spend the night trapped on the west bank within sight of their cars. currently offers topo maps from the entire United States. We plan to expand our topomap database in the future, however this map is not available at this time. Thank you for your understanding.
