Its most interesting aspect is its name. Tom Lusk, a refugee from the States with a murky past best not inquired into, was a respected packer and guide for all the early explorers of the Canadian Rockies. Dressed like a figure from Buffalo Bill's Wild West Show, his blue eyes alternately steely or glassy, depending on whether or not he was on the whisky bottle, he was noted for a high temper that scared the hell out of his clients. Martin Nordegg recalls that on his trip to Ribbon Creek coalfields, Lusk introduced himself by saying, "Let us be friends and try to understand each other. If you do, it will be best for you". While lacking social graces, he was real soppy over horses. currently offers topo maps from the entire United States. We plan to expand our topomap database in the future, however this map is not available at this time. Thank you for your understanding.
