This ride takes you through exciting and spectacular country where big valleys and towering, glaciated mountains form the very headwaters of the Athabasca River. The Columbia and Chaba icefields feed two fast-flowing rivers, the bridge, and the Chaba, which must be forded to get to the lake. Fortress Lake is a large mountain lake lying just west of the Continental Divide in Hamber Provincial Park, British Columbia. currently offers topo maps from the entire United States. We plan to expand our topomap database in the future, however this map is not available at this time. Thank you for your understanding.
