This ride begins in Waterton Lakes National Park, climbs over Akamina Pass and descends along Akamina and Kishinena creeks to the Flathead Valley, just north of the international boundary. The ride finishes at a remote location and you must make prior arrangements for a pick-up. Formerly it was possible to cross into the U.S.A. and make a long loop with Logan Pass, but the customs post at Flathead is currently closed. The alpine and subalpine areas at the head of the valley form the Akamina-Kishinena Provincial Park and Wall Lake is a popular day-cycling destination.

Trails.com currently offers topo maps from the entire United States. We plan to expand our topomap database in the future, however this map is not available at this time. Thank you for your understanding.
