With the completion in 1999 of an east-side trail, Hayward Lake reservoir, between the Ruskin and Stave Falls dams, now offers 17 km (10.5 miles) of all-season walking that can be tailored to suit hikers of all levels. At the northern end, B.C. Hydro provides a recreation area with picnic tables and other facilities, as well as a short nature walk around a beaver pond. Families with small children might prefer to park here and content themselves with the beaver pond and some of the gentle Railway Trail on the lake’s western side or tour the Stave Falls dam and powerhouse, where a visitor centre (open May to October) offers historical displays, a theatre and a gift shop.

Trails.com currently offers topo maps from the entire United States. We plan to expand our topomap database in the future, however this map is not available at this time. Thank you for your understanding.
