Nestled at the foot of the Fitzsimmons Range, and just within the boundary of Garibaldi Provincial Park, glacier-fed Cheakamus Lake is ringed by peaks towering to 1600 m (5250 feet). The mostly level trail and lakeshore campsites draw summer crowds of hikers, fishers and mountain bikers. If you prefer tranquility and school holidays are not a consideration, hike the trail in fall, when the lake is enfolded in silence and the surrounding mountains await the first snowfall. currently offers topo maps from the entire United States. We plan to expand our topomap database in the future, however this map is not available at this time. Thank you for your understanding.
