If you want an easy, uncomplicated walk for the whole family to enhance a picnic in Alice Lake Park, try this well-marked circuit. June is a good time to see Labrador tea in bloom at Fawn Lake and twinflower, bunchberry and queen cup in flower along the trail. Marsh buckbean grows in the water at the edge of Stump Lake, and by June the logs offshore have become floating gardens bedecked with shrubs and flowers. Near the entrance to the parking lot, you’ll see a trail ascending beside a creek. This is your starting point for a circuit of the four lakes. After a short climb through the woods, you emerge into a more open area, soon to encounter a sign directing you left to Edith Lake. To continue the circuit, walk north on the access road and keep left where the road forks at the end of the lake. currently offers topo maps from the entire United States. We plan to expand our topomap database in the future, however this map is not available at this time. Thank you for your understanding.
