Nova Scotia makes for a great family vacation. Most American visitors enter Nova Scotia on ferries that link Maine with Yarmouth. From there two roads diverge—one tracing the south shore’s Lighthouse Route through world-famous Lunenburg and Peggy’s Cove to the capital, Halifax; the other skirting the northern French Shore through Digby and Annapolis Royal, Canada’s oldest settlement. Inland, the fertile Annapolis Valley lines this peninsula with farms and orchards. If time permits—and you need two weeks or more—you can encircle the province, exploring rugged Cape Breton Island and the Cabot Trail, sampling pleasant beaches and the warmest water north of the Carolinas along the Northumberland Straits, and discovering fossils and semiprecious stones released by the ferocious Fundy tides of the Minas Basin. currently offers topo maps from the entire United States. We plan to expand our topomap database in the future, however this map is not available at this time. Thank you for your understanding.
