Bring your camera. The ramble is a fun way to beat the heat and snap some of Washington's most picturesque photos. The ride takes a broad look at the Washington Monuments and their history, presenting the beauty of those buildings and their natural surroundings through a series of long-range views. The ride follows the banks of the Potomac River and the Tidal Basin, providing elevated and unobstructed views from the area's numerous stone bridges. And because a steady breeze blows in off the River, riders enjoy a rare escape from the city's notorious heat and humidity. Terrain: very easy ride. The ride has only one, short climb and is mainly along bicycle paths with no traffic.
