In his 1864 report on the mines and minerals of New Brunswick, Dr. Loring Bailey described the Nigadoo River as “a succession of romantic falls and rapids . . . interjected with limestone, quartz, copper pyrites, and lead.” The ravine of Nigadoo Falls is still rich in geology, recalling the accordion-like collisions of continents millions of years ago. Sourced by several lakes, bogans, and streams, the river system continues to forge a path through the Appalachian Mountains to Chaleur Bay. currently offers topo maps from the entire United States. We plan to expand our topomap database in the future, however this map is not available at this time. Thank you for your understanding.
