In the 1870s, the Irishtown Road Reservoir was created by damming Ogilvie Brook. It served as a water supply for Moncton for years, but recently this preserved area became a nature park. It now features a mature forest, active beaver lodges, trilliums and other wildflowers in the spring, and good birding throughout the year. Trail Condition: Sections of rough boardwalk, corduroy road, muddy in places. currently offers topo maps from the entire United States. We plan to expand our topomap database in the future, however this map is not available at this time. Thank you for your understanding.
