This is a fairly easy walk along a former rail line that has been abandoned for more than 100 years. It starts from an attractive picnic ground on the shores of the Northumberland Strait, and passes through quite attractive forest to end at one of the few suspended footbridges in the province. Families will enjoy this walk the most, but everyone will want to undertake this hike just to travel across the bridge. (It sways deliciously when you bounce up and down.)
