Although it’s been more than 100 years since it has been used as a road, the Gaspereau River Trail follows an old cart track up a narrow river gorge in the Gaspereau Valley, in Kings County. The Gaspereau Valley runs roughly parallel to the Annapolis Valley but is part of the South Mountain Slope Unit of the Atlantic Interior Terrestrial Theme Region. This is a pleasant hike up a small stream in a fairly narrow valley. I have provided details up to the point where the path crosses the river, although it continues many kilometres upstream. As it becomes increasingly less distinct, and, because there is no bridge and the river must be forded most of the year, I have ended the hike here. currently offers topo maps from the entire United States. We plan to expand our topomap database in the future, however this map is not available at this time. Thank you for your understanding.
