This watershed is known locally as Clossner’s Marsh. It is the headwaters of Canaseraga Creek. Keep your binoculars and camera focused on the marsh edges as you paddle. In this habitat, there are great opportunities to see shore birds, herons, swans, geese, ducks, turkey vultures, hawks and, possibly osprey. Birds Likely Seen: Shorebirds, bitterns, herons, woodpeckers, finches, blackbirds, warblers, bluebirds, geese, widgeons, mallards, wood ducks, blue-wing and green-wing teals and, gadwals on occasion.
