Nestled in west-central Wyoming County is the Beaver Meadow Audubon Center. The Buffalo Audubon Society sponsors, maintains and administers the center. Beaver Meadow is a 324-acre sanctuary with 8 miles of trails, all of which are excellent for birding. This includes the Jenny Glen Trail boardwalk, which is handicapped accessible. Beaver Meadow is a must see if you're looking for a learning or education area dealing with nature and birds. Birds Likely Seen:Woodpeckers, nuthatches, chickadees, turkey vultures, hawks, warblers, tanagers, bluebirds, finches, shore birds, herons, grebes, ducks and geese.
