You’ll be heading downhill as you drive Scouten Hill and Bevan Road to the base of a large pond. This means that the ski trails generally head uphill from the main parking area on Bevan Road. But, the trails are 6-feet wide and nicely graded, making for easy skiing. Most of the trails run through a young forest and shrub lands. Hawk Run has the steepest incline, through grasslands to a scenic overlook. The DEC trails north of McAlister Road are narrower and less well maintained but are great for winter solitude. Terrain: Hillside.
