This 63-mile-long drive parallels the forested east flank of the Front Range between Central City and Estes Park. The Peak to Peak Highway, a designated National Forest Scenic Byway, unfurls for sixty-three miles between Clear Creek Canyon and Estes Park. The drive offers calendar-caliber scenery, with gorgeous views of the skyscraping Continental Divide, high wooded hills, exhilarating canyons and valleys, and the dun-colored prairie to the east. The drive, lying within Roosevelt National Forest, is bordered by both the Indian Peaks Wilderness Area and Rocky Mountain National Park.
