A 20-mile paved and gravel route along the top of Crowleys Ridge, offering extensive views of forests and Mississippi River delta. The St. Francis Scenic Byway winds atop a unique ridge in eastern Arkansas through a beautiful hardwood forest. The 20-mile route is paved for about 9 miles and is well-maintained with graded gravel the remaining miles. Traffic is constant in the summer and light the rest of the year.
