A fairly small stocked trout stream almost entirely within the bounds of the Chattahoochee National Forest. Access is easy since the creek is paralleled for most of its length by a national forest road. The very upper reaches of Mill Creek are impounded to form Lake Conasauga. Downstream from the lake, the creek runs down Grassy Mountain before losing its trout water designation and running into the Conasauga River west of Chatsworth. The trout-water portion of Mill Creek receives periodic stockings of catchable rainbow trout. Although a national forest road parallels the creek for most of its length, the drop from the road down to the creek is a steep one, which limits the number of places the stocking truck can reach. Most fishing pressure is directed at these obvious access points. Key species: rainbow trout.
