Stamp Creek is a stocked trout stream in Pine Log Wildlife Management Area. Stamp Creek is unusual in two regards: it is a walk-in put-and-take trout stream, and it is open enough for fly fishing. Most of the designated trout water portion of Stamp Creek flows through the 14,913 acre Pine Log Wildlife Management Area. After leaving the management area, Stamp Creek eventually flows into Allatoona Lake. Stamp Creek is periodically stocked with catchable-size rainbow trout. Redeye bass and various sunfish species are also present. A dirt road runs close to the stream in the management area. However, a gate limits the road to non-vehicular traffic for most of the year. Key species: rainbow trout, redeye bass.
