Beaverdam WMA is a great area of mostly hardwood forest on the bank of the Oconee River. It offers miles of good trails for both breeding species and migrants. Many of the trails are driveable and those that aren’t are easy walking. Key birds: Swainson’s and Prothonotary Warblers, Louisiana Waterthrush, Common Ground-Dove, migrant warblers, wintering sparrows.
