This trail begins at the intersection of US 50 and Ruby Avenue in Silver Springs. At first the road is wide and well maintained. Soon the trail begins to climb into the arid hills of the Virginia Range. Ascending to the northwest, the drive is rough from some small embedded and loose rocks in the road, but the rocks do not present any difficulty to a 4WD vehicle. Special Attractions: Wild horse viewing. Expansive overlook from the end of the spur trail. Scenic trail through the Virginia Range.
