The POW/Par None/IMBA Loop, commonly called the POW Loop, is actually a combination of three trails that together form a loop through the western outskirts of Bootleg Canyon. Because this ride is not in the canyon area, the terrain is mainly flat with only small hilly areas. Unlike many of the other rides in Bootleg Canyon, this loop does not have difficult rock obstacles or large drops. This makes it a perfect trail for beginning to intermediate riders. The ride starts at an area commonly referred to as “Stonehenge,” which is a formation of large rocks that have been arranged in a large circle and stood on their ends, giving them height. There is also a kiosk that houses a map of the trail and advertisements for upcoming events—usually mountain bike races. The map is a little old and can be confusing so it is best to follow the map provided in this guide. The loop is single track the entire way and it is nearly impossible to get lost. The dirt area in front of and just to the right of the rocks is for parking.
