Follow an old farm road to two small peninsulas in pristine Narvaez Bay, one of the best spots on Saturna for bird-watching and wildlife observations. Then compare and contrast two smaller bays within the large one. One invites beach explorations and overnight camping; the other, enclosed between rock cliffs and ledges, once offered cover for Prohibition-era bootleggers. Follow the gently descending old road to a junction with the Monarch Head Trail at 0.2 mile. Continue left, reaching another junction in another 0.2 mile in an old pasture frequented by deer and raccoons. Left goes to Little bay. Right goes to Echo Bay. You're going to both.
