If you enjoy alpine-ridge walks, then this is a good one. You could spend two or three days hiking the spine of this ridge, which offers impressive views in all directions. The route is mostly just a matter of following the ridge crest and dropping down occasionally for water and camping. The airstrips are small, and wind conditions can make access difficult at times. The rocks and slopes of the ridge are home to many Dall sheep and mountain goats.
