This trail has a great downhill section that makes for a fun ride. Of course, you have to pay for that downhill with a bit of a climb back to the trailhead, but on the way the trail offers great views of the Red Rocks Escarpment and you may even see a burro or two. The Beginner Loop is a fun ride popular with many mountain bikers in the area. The majority of the ride is a great downhill section that you can take as slow or as fast as you feel comfortable. Of course, all that downhill riding does come with a price. Once you complete that portion, you’ll have a gradual climb all the way back to the trailhead. Still, the climb is not difficult and the downhill section is worth the price of admission.
