This lengthy trail heads into the Valley of Fire State Park, home to some of the most amazing rock formations and color combinations in all of Nevada. Valley of Fire is the oldest and largest state park in Nevada. Along with beautiful rock formations, it is home to petrified wood and 3,000-year-old petroglyphs. An alternate parking spot is the visitor center inside the park. This will eliminate a little over 36 miles from the entire ride. Take I-15 east to the Moapa Paiute exit. Turn right and follow the road into the Valley of Fire State Park. Turn on Mouse’s Tank Road and park in the visitor center parking lot. Fees: Entering the Valley of Fire State Park by car will cost $10 per day. If you only ride your bike, the cost is $1 per day. Yearly passes are $65.
