North Cheyenne Creek falls from Stratton Reservoir high on the eastern slopes of 12,367-foot Almagre Mountain and meanders east through North Cheyenne Cañon. The creek, and a lovely slide waterfall over bedrock, can be enjoyed via the popular Seven Bridges Trail. Follow the gravel Gold Camp road—an old railway bed—across North Cheyenne Creek, then cut off to the right and get onto unsigned Seven Bridges Trail (Trail #622). A sign located shortly up the trail provides distances to several destinations.
