West of Eldorado Springs, South Boulder Creek flows from Gross Reservoir, through historic Walker Ranch Park and into Eldorado Canyon. The reservoir’s steady outflux provides a year-round cascade that slips through the canyon, over, under, and between boulders in a tumultuous flourish at “Eldorado Falls.” There are several ways to reach Eldorado Falls; these two are the shortest and most scenic routes, respectively. Alternately, each route may be extended to a strenuous hike by continuing on the trail past the and incorporating the entire Walker Ranch Loop.
