Most hikers climb popular Wasson Peak, the highest summit in the Tucson Mountain section of Saguaro National Park, via the long Hugh Norris Trail. Instead, this equally scenic but less-traveled loop uses the King Canyon and Sweetwater Trails to reach the summit, then returns via a short section of the Hugh Norris Trail and the Sendero Esperanza and Gould Mine Trails. The views of the Tucson area and the Santa Catalina and Rincon Mountains from the 4687-foot peak are especially fine.
