Named for a trail built to fight a wildfire, this eastern Superstition loop starts from the remote Campaign Trailhead. It follows the Campaign and Pinto Creek Trails up gorgeous Campaign Creek, then crosses the headwaters of Pine Creek on the Fire Line Trail. Joining the Reavis Trail, the loop passes the site of historic Reavis Ranch, then uses the Reavis Gap and a short piece of the Campaign Trail to return. Hike clockwise to avoid the long, dry climb on the Reavis Gap Trail.
