One member of an appealing threesome—LeConte, Mallory, and Irvine—gathered close together on a ridge above Meysan Lake. From Meysan Lake, LeConte is the left-most of the three peaks. From certain angles the ridge appears almost to be an infinite regression of spires disappearing to the south. Mount LeConte, along with its companions, Mounts Mallory and Irvine, can be accessed from Meysan Lake. The peaks make an attractive trio, tucked together into the highest part of the High Sierra.
