A historic hot spring resort with a swimming pool and several private rooms. The Carson Hot Springs have been utilized for centuries, and in 1894 they became a resort known as Shaw’s Hot Springs. Countless people visited the springs over the years, many traveling great distances to do so. In the 1910s the name was changed to Carson Hot Springs. The buildings have changed over the years, but the water remains the same. Today, a medium-size swimming pool is maintained at approximately 98 degrees F. Individual private rooms are also fed with hot spring water, with temperatures varying between 95 and 110 degrees F. The water in the private rooms can also be adjusted by adding cold tap water.
