A large, travertine-lined pit with extremely hot water, diverted into a plastic tub on the bank of the Little Humboldt River. A wonderful bathing opportunity awaits if water in the tub is allowed to cool. Primitive, except for the diversion of water to the plastic tub. This is private property, and it is unclear as to whether camping is permitted or not at the spring. There is plenty of undeveloped space in the immediate vicinity, however. Water from this large hot spring surrounded by travertine is diverted into a plastic tub. The source is 130 degrees F.—do not go in! Also check the water temperature in the plastic tub before getting in, since it can be extremely hot. This spring is on private property, so please respect all signs and leave no trace of your visit.
