This is an out-and-back hike up to a scenic stream canyon to the historic ruins of an 1870s ranch deep in the Panamint Mountains. Wilson Spring is a lush and lovely spot with water pouring from a pipe, huge willow and cottonwood trees, and an informal campsite —a true desert oasis.
