A backpack from Organization Ridge Road to the Sabino Basin. Canyon. It initially passes through pine forest, then descends through oak woodlands and ends up in arid grasslands sprinkled with ocotillos. The path is well beaten for its entire length, and Mud Spring offers a fairly reliable water source along the way. The scenery features Pine Canyon along the middle part of the route, and near its end is a rocky bluff that commands a panoramic view of the Sabino Basin.
