A scenic, remote hike in the Sycamore Canyon Wilderness. The Kelsey Trail drops over the upper rim of Sycamore Canyon and descends steeply for a couple of switchbacks, then reaches gentler terrain as it swings west through the pine-oak forest. The Kelsey Trail drops over the upper rim of Sycamore Canyon and descends steeply for a couple of switchbacks, then reaches gentler terrain as it swings west through the pine-oak forest. In a half mile the trail reaches Kelsey Spring, where it turns sharply left (south) to cross a drainage. The trail follows this drainage to the northwest to Babes Hole Spring.
