There are approximately 12 different ways to reach this fourteener summit. The Sawtooth option allows hikers to summit two fourteeners in one day—both Mount Bierstadt and Mount Evans. Generally, summit Mount Bierstadt first and then Mount Evans since the peaks are 1.5 miles apart. The West Ridge option is a good out-and-back hike on the less popular side of Mount Evans. Most tourists access Mount Evans from Echo Lake or Mount Evans Road on the east and northeast side.
