The views from both sides of the pass are impressive. There are many side roads in the area to explore, but be careful because some are extremely difficult. Outstanding scenery from 12,096-ft. Webster Pass. Exciting descent down narrow switchbacks through historical mining area. A very enjoyable drive for experienced drivers seeking real adventure. Very popular ATV and dirt bike area. The rockiest part of trail is near the bottom where the trail intersects with Red Cone. A bog area has been repaired with logs but can still be challenging when the logs move. Upper portion of trail is often blocked by snow well into August. When dry, this trail is suitable for stock, high-clearance, 4WD vehicles with low-range gearing.
