Kirk Hill sits above Leverich Canyon and Hodgman Canyon and borders the Gallatin National Forest. From the top, a trail connects Kirk Hill to Bozeman Creek and the Hyalite Creek divide. The Loop 2 Trail is the largest and steepest of the three loop trails.
