The Blodgett Canyon Overlook is a spectacular site on an exposed rocky ridge. The overlook includes awesome vistas into Blodgett Canyon, the massive vertical walls surrounding the canyon, the Canyon Creek drainage, the Bitterroot Valley, the town of Hamilton, and the Sapphire Mountains. All of these views are afforded with relatively little elevation gain. This stunning hike begins at Canyon Creek and leads north up to the overlook atop Romney Ridge, dividing Blodgett Canyon from Canyon Creek. Benches are provided at the various lookout points.
