Burdette Creek is a tributary of the South Fork of Fish Creek, located in the Fish Creek drainage in Lolo National Forest. The Burdette Creek Trail provides access into the remote stream-fed drainage, following the creek through an old-growth ponderosa pine forest. The gentle trail gains only 400 feet as it leads to a campsite at 4.5 miles, lying below the Petty Creek-Fish Creek divide. The route passes beaver ponds and crosses the creek three times. Known as an excellent wildlife winter range, the drainage is primarily used in the fall during hunting season.
