A day hike or overnighter to a large, marshy meadow in a subalpine basin along the upper reaches of the Little Blackfoot River. Little Blackfoot Meadows, a large subalpine basin along the Continental Divide, receives heavy use during hunting season but not much at other times of the year. Park on the road and continue on foot along the jeep track. At 1.3 miles the jeep track forks, with Kading Grade Trail going off to the right.Take the left fork to stay on the jeep track. Shortly thereafter, the road ends and turns into Trail 329, which heads gradually downhill to the banks of the Little Blackfoot, crossing a new footbridge at 2.5 miles. Rainbow and brook trout frequent the pools along this stretch of stream.
