This hike focuses on the southern (Great Hill) segment of the nearly 33-mile-long Shenipsit Trail, which journeys north from Meshomasic State Forest through Shenipsit State Forest to halt within 2 miles of the Massachusetts state line. This hike passes between Great Hill Road and Del Reeves Road at the Glastonbury town line. Special attractions: Outcrop vistas, mixed woods, mountain laurel, fall foliage.
