Five miles south of Southbury. Three day-hikes of varying difficulty incorporate the area's nature and hiking trails, presenting the park's natural merit. Each offers lake overviews, but only the Pomperaug-Oxford Loop accesses Lake Zoar. Special attractions: Lake Zoar overlooks and access, small waterfall, picturesque Kettletown Brook, rich hemlock-hardwood forests, flowering dogwood and mountain laurel, fall foliage.
