Located on the 400-acre Arrowhead Wildlife Management Area, this trail runs through a tract formerly used as a state fish hatchery. This easy, level hike winds in and out of a dozen or more different wildlife habitat types, including open fields, forest, forest edge, and water. This trail provides a short course in wildlife management for both game and non-game animals. Interpretive signs strategically placed along the path explain what has been done to improve the diversity of animals and plants. The trail is short enough for a quick morning or evening walk and has enough variety to keep you busy for a day of watching and photography.
